I was diagnosed with bowel cancel about 4 weeks ago. Talking to family and friends I chose Mr Gurjar to carry out the surgery. I was seen by Mr Gurjar 3 weeks ago. He explained the procedure to me, went thoroughly with the likely risks and complications of surgery. I was given the Op date of 03/08/20 and was duly operated on that day. I was discharged 48 hours after coming out of Op theatre. Post operatively I have had an event free recovery . I am pain free, eating and fully mobile. I had this out come all thanks to the skills and experience of my excellent surgeon. And through out this episode of illness, I have been treated with utmost courtesy by Mr Gurjar, his colleagues, the nursing and auxiliary staff at the Luton & Dunstable Hospital. I could not have asked for a better surgeon and a better team to look after me. Keep up the great work that you do. Ashok Shah

Mr Gujar in my opinion is extremely professional and thorough, whilst at the same time makes you feel at ease and comfortable, by explaining things in a clear and precise way. You need to feel confident, in the event that the person you are talking to could possibly be operating on you and with Mr Gujar, after my consultation, I feel completely confident that I would be in the right hands. He is also interested in your health, overall not just in his area, I would recommend him to anyone, a great consultation and I am very please I chose him.

Contact with the consultant was very brief and was limited to the initial consultation and 5 minute meeting immediately before the operation. there was no post operation contact
